KUWAIT: Kuwait Municipality teams intensified their monitoring campaigns in spring camps during the New Year’s holiday. The team visited sites in the governorates of Jahra and Ahmadi. Over 46 camps were removed for violations. Twenty mobile groceries were towed to the municipality’s reservation sites in Al-Naayem and Mina Abdullah. 70 street vendors were fined for various violations and referred to competent authorities.
The Municipality called on licensed spring camp owners to abide by the conditions and regulations of the Municipality and not hold any celebrations during the official mourning period. The inspection teams will not hesitate to remove any camp that does not comply with the conditions and rules.
