KUWAIT: Kuwait Journalists Association (KJA) expressed on Sunday its deepest and sincere condolences to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Al-Sabah Family and the Kuwaiti people on the passing away of the late Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. In a statement, the KJA voiced hope for security, stability and unity in the country under the leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as he constantly emphasized unity of Kuwaiti people and their devotion in serving the country and boosting its development.

The statement added as the late Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah loved his people, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah affirmed that his leadership of the country would be aimed for the benefit of the people of Kuwait, praying to Allah the Almighty to bestow His blessing upon His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad.

Arab journalists

The Federation of Arab Journalists (FAJ) on Sunday eulogized the late Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber who passed away Saturday recalling his long record of accomplishments at the domestic and external levels. The Cairo-headquartered union said in a statement that the late Amir was a wise and faithful leader for his country and people, was keen on boosting relations among Arab States and supporting causes of the Arab and Muslim nations. It also expressed sympathies and solace to the State of Kuwait, the people the gracious Al-Sabah Family, praying for his soul and voiced sympathies with Sheikh Nawaf’s bereaved family.

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries offered its “deepest and heartfelt condolences” over the passing of late Amir Sheikh Nawaf to the leadership, the ruling family and people of Kuwait.
