ShareKUWAIT: Central Agency for Information Technology (CAIT) held an international forum on artificial intelligence and digital services titled “Digital Smart Society” on Dec 12, 2023. The forum included the presence of people from different sectors in GCC countries to discuss the role of artificial intelligence in developing the work system in both public and private sectors and the future revolution.
During the forum, Sulaiman Al-Arouj, who was representing CAIT, said the first conference on artificial intelligence is inaugurated as a result of the tremendous technological advancements in communication and information technology and the diversity of multiple programs, which aims to facilitate the exchange and access of information to users, indicating the important role of AI and digital services in influencing businesses’ and individuals’ daily lives, as well as governments and all sectors, including the oil, banking, governmental and private sectors.
The specific topics being discussed at the forum were artificial intelligence and its digital services, and their impact on various fields. The latest research and advanced technologies in the field of artificial intelligence were also highlighted. The current stage of AI applications is a very significant transformation in human life, as it represents a real, effective and future revolution in the telecommunications and information technology sector.
The importance of AI topics and the development of digital services and procedures in government entities, as well as private sector institutions, led to accelerating these processes, especially those provided to citizens, as the use of these technologies has numerous benefits across various sectors.
