Kuwait ambassador presents credentials to Pope Francis

VATICAN: The ambassador of Kuwait to Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Yaqub Al-Sindh, presented his credentials (as a non-resident ambassador of Kuwait) to the Vatican to Pope Francis.

Ambassador Al-Sindh said in a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Thursday, following the presentation of his credentials, that the political leadership in Kuwait is keen on strengthening bilateral relations with the Holy See.

Sindh conveyed the greetings and wishes of Kuwait’s political leadership to the Pope. Pope stressed that diplomatic missions are noble and important, especially in a world beset by crises and wars, pointing to the urgent need for vital and great role in bringing people closer and finding peaceful and appropriate solutions to issues. — KUNA
