KUWAIT: Kuwait Equestrian Federation is preparing for the opening of its third edition of the local league, scheduled to start its first round on Friday by local clubs riders. International judge Nabila Al-Ali who is secretary of KEF said: The federation is ready for the first round, as local clubs riders prepared well for the event amid expectations the season will see very strong competition between several riders.

She said each round of the league will take place in two consecutive days, and at the end of the league championship the rider with the highest number of points will be declared champion. Competitions will have heats for professionals, amateurs and juniors. It is worth mentioning that rider Ali Jassim Al-Kharafi won the first two championships and expected to be tough to beat as he trained well and participated in international championships.
