Kuwait’s gesture for Palestine a new pillar of greatness: Envoy

By Rami Tahboub,

Palestinian Ambassador to Kuwait

The decision of the Kuwait’s Ministry of Health to prepare its hospitals to receive the wounded following the brutal aggression on the besieged Gaza Strip constitutes a new pillar in the edifice of the greatness of Kuwait and no tongue can express the gratitude of the Palestinian people to the country.

We express our profound gratitude to the State of Kuwait, headed by His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince, His Highness the Prime Minister and the great Kuwaiti people, old and young, on behalf of their brothers in the occupied State of Palestine since the first moment of the barbaric aggression. Every day, Kuwait honors us and overwhelms us with this love and this attachment to Palestine, its people and its cause.

What Kuwait has offered and continues to offer is a medal on the chest of every Palestinian man and woman. On behalf of His Excellency the President of the State of Palestine, President Mahmoud Abbas, and on behalf of the Palestinian people everywhere, I extend to the political leadership and the High Court all appreciation and gratitude for the unprecedented support. I pray to Almighty Allah to protect Kuwait and its people from all harms and to perpetuate the blessing of security and safety.

Long live Kuwait and long live Palestine!
