Zain sponsors the thrills of GulfRun Grand Prix 2023

KUWAIT: In an exciting setting at the renowned Kuwait Motor Town, Zain sponsored for the sixth time the thrills of the GulfRun Grand Prix 2023, one of the most popular motorsport gatherings in Kuwait and the GCC. The much-anticipated event offered a safe and professional environment for motorsport enthusiasts to practice their favorite sport, attended by large crowds of visitors and spectators.

Zain’s ongoing support to this annual gathering reflects its commitment to supporting the sports sector and encouraging promising projects that offer a world-class, safe environment for professional racers, giving them the chance to unleash their talents and grow their passion in all sports, especially motorsports that are very popular among Kuwait’s youth.

This year, the GulfRun Grand Prix featured four different classes: Street, Super, GT, and Unlimited, where tens of local, regional, and international professionals raced and competed for the highest scores, thrilling the attending crowds. During the event’s closing ceremony, Zain joined the stage to award the winners in one of the race’s classes.

The event also featured numerous other segments that joyed families and young people alike. These programs included the Zain Junior Race for children, a special exhibition for car dealers to showcase their latest vehicles and offer a chance for test drives, and a community market with many unique brands, cafes, and restaurants offering their services to visitors.

GulfRun provides an ideal and safe alternative to street racing, which threatens the lives of many people, many of them young drivers. Motorsport enthusiasts are able to showcase their talents within professional and certified grounds at the Kuwait Motor Town’s race circuit, in addition to taking advantage of the opportunity to gain valuable insights with the help of qualified trainers and experienced professional instructors.
