KUWAIT: Member of Kuwait Aquatics Federation Faisal Abulhassan was appointed by World Aquatics with the advisory committee that includes experts in their professional fields.
Head of the advisors committee at the World Aquatics, Lawyer Christopher Burton welcomed the appointment of Abulhassan in the committee, adding that he has confidence in the new member.
The World Aquatics is the recognized entity by the International Olympic Committee to manage the aquatics competitions and its headquarters is located in Lausanne, Switzerland, and was established in 1908 under the name FINA, before changing the name into World Aquatics in January.
It is currently sanctioning six water sports: Swimming, diving, technical swimming, water polo, high diving and swimming in open water.
