KUWAIT: HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Annual Shooting Tournament that was held at Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex concluded on Saturday with a ceremony that was attended by representative of HH the Crown Prince, Farwaniya Governor Mishal Al-Jaber Al-Abdallah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Commerce and Industry Minister Mohammad Othman Al-Aiban, President of Asian Shooting Confederation Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, Director General of Public Authority for Sport Yousuf Abdallah Al-Baidan and President of Kuwait and Arab shooting federations Eng Duaij Khalaf Al-Otaibi.

Sheikh Mishal Al-Jaber Al-Abdallah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah commented following the ceremony saying he is honored to represent HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah in the tournament that witnessed the participation of a large number of shooters from the shooting club, army, police and National Guard federations.

Sheikh Mishal Al-Jaber lauded the good organization of the tournament and bringing it out in this honorable form and wished shooters more success. Meanwhile, Eng Al-Otaibi said Kuwait Shooting Sport Club always look forward to organize this annual tournament which includes all categories and disciplines.

He added that the tournament attracted a large number of shooters from the club, army, police and National Guard, while it was officiated by international Kuwaiti referees, as it included competition in the skeet, trap, pistol, rifle and archery.

Al-Otaibi said Kuwait shooting is blessed with the care and interest of HH the Crown Prince as he instructed to support youth in general and Kuwait shooting in particular, resulting in signing a cooperation protocol between KSSC and the National Guard.

He said Kuwait shooting continued its winning ways with shooters winning 30 various medals (6 gold, 11 silver, 13 bronze) at all levels, most important of which is the qualification of shooter Khalid Al-Mudhaf to Paris Olympics 2024 after winning the bronze of the World Championship, and winning four medals in the Asian Games.
