KUWAIT: The KUNA Center for Media Capacity Development launched on Sunday the training program “Charisma necessary for leadership and media guidance” with the participation of a number of employees of the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the Public Authority for Youth, the Kuwait Ports Authority and the Qatar News Agency (QNA).
The program, which is presented by the journalist and professor of leadership and educational policies at the Public Authority for Applied Education, Dr Meshari Al-Husseini, aims to provide trainees with the skills of attendance, influence others, and identify the skills necessary for media attendance and methods of managing and leading media meetings.
The program, which will continue until Nov 23, deals with the definition of charisma, its types and elements, including media charisma and personality assessment, in addition to identifying the directions of meetings, control, dialogue management and leadership, dialogue language and dialogue soundtrack, and the training program includes workshops.
The KUNA Media Capacity Development Center, which was established in December 1995, is one of the most important media training centers, as it has provided hundreds of training programs in various media fields and aims to develop personal media capabilities and promote professional media work. — KUNA
