KUWAIT: HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Annual Shooting Championship will have around 400 shooters from Kuwait and GCC countries, said President of Kuwait and Arab Shooting Federations Eng. Duaij Khalaf Al-Otaibi. Al-Otaibi, who Chairs the higher organizing committee said the Kuwait shooting community is honored to organize this major tournament.

Eng. Al-Otaibi said this year’s championship will include the Olympic skeet, trap, pistol and rifle and archery for both men and women, as he appreciated the patronage of HH the Crown Prince, which made it one of the most important sports events second to HH the Amir International Grand Prix, adding that this continued support by the political leadership enabled Kuwait Shooting to make several significant achievements, while pointing to the role of the Public Authority for Sport along with other state entities.

He said this championship is important to prepare for international events especially that qualifying for Paris 2024 Olympics including the Asian Championship Kuwait will host in January 2024 with 47 countries participating. He said the Kuwait Shooting qualified for the Champions Championships through Khalid Al-Mudhaf in Qatar next week.
