KUWAIT: Kuwait International Inspire Championship for cars and motorcycles concluded at Kuwait Motor City in Arifjan area, with 250 racers from Kuwait, Gulf and Arab countries, as Ahmad Al-Enezi ended in first place in the 180 car category, Firas Al-Rifae in the 200 category, Mohammad Al-Abdallah in the 220 category, Yousuf Al-Hindi in the 240 category, Yousuf Al-Sayegh 270 category and Fahad Al-Ibrahim in the electric cars.
The motorcycles results first place went to Ahmad Al-Attar in the 1000cc category and Mohammad Al-Abdallah 1300cc category, Mohammad Burashed in the extreme bike, while Sadeq Al-Tamimi won first place in the classic cars category.
Chairman of Inspire Cars and Motorcycles Sports Club Dr Falah Al-Muhawesh was happy with the success of the Championship and the positive participation of racers.
He said "we are happy with hosting and organizing the tournament that lasted two days and had different sports, entertainment and awareness activities in addition to the competitive races in all stages. He lauded the support of Public Authority for Sport and other entities.
Chairman of the organizing committee Hussein Al-Sheikh said the Championship did not have any objections, as competitions were exciting and strong at all stages and witnessed world records as Mohammad Burashed scored a speed of 336 km/h in the extreme bike. Also Ahmad Al-Attar scored a new world record of 291.6 km/h in the 1000cc category.
