DOHA: Deputy Director General of the Industrial Exports Sector at the Public Authority for Industry, Dr. Sanad Al-Ajmi, confirmed Monday that ten Kuwaiti foodstuff companies are participating in the eighth Qatar Hospitality Exhibition.

The exhibition continues until next Wednesday in the Qatari capital Doha. Al-Ajmi added in a statement to KUNA after the opening of the Kuwaiti pavilion at the Qatar Hospitality Exhibition that the national companies participating in the Kuwaiti pavilion include the companies in the fields of nutrition, hospitality and packaging.

He explained that participation comes within the framework of supporting Kuwaiti companies, in addition to demonstrating and clarifying the quality of the national foodstuff industry to visitors and the importance of promoting them. This will also help expand the base of investors and those interested in national food products.

Al-Ajmi said that the exhibition also provides an appropriate opportunity for exhibitors in the markets to promote their food products and explore new markets, in addition to expanding their partner base in the region.

Participating from Kuwait are: Ahlia Group Company for Food and Consumer Products, the Kuwaiti Company for Manufacturing Packaging Materials, the Food Industries Company, the Kuwait Flour Mills and Bakeries Company, the Aqwat Sweets and Pastries Factory Company, Yurkan Carpets, and Mujezat Al-Shifa General Trading Company, Al-Watan Sweets Company, Al-Seedawi Laboratories Company, and Al-Khat for the Production of Boxes. — KUNA
