KUWAIT: The 13th relief plane took off from the Kuwaiti Air Bridge to help the brothers in the Gaza Strip, heading to the Egyptian city of Al-Arish. The plane carries 40 tons of food and medical supplies. In his remarks to KUNA, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, Anwar Al-Hasawi reaffirmed Kuwait’s solidarity with the brothers in the Gaza Strip and its determination to continue providing the urgent aid necessary to save the victims of Zionist attacks and meet the necessary life requirements.

He said that Kuwait is one of the first countries to provide humanitarian support to them to alleviate their suffering from the heinous attacks of the occupation forces that destroyed all aspects of life and left thousands dead and wounded. Al-Hasawi stressed that the Kuwaiti Red Crescent will intensify its efforts in providing assistance and assistance to those affected in coordination with the Palestinian Red Crescent, expressing his thanks to the foreign ministries and the Defense Department, due to their keenness to maintain constant communication and facilitate the transfer of aid to the brothers in Gaza.

Director of the Public Relations and Media Department of the Society, Khaled Al-Zaid, said in a similar statement to KUNA that the Society is keen on the validity of the medical and food supplies sent, stressing that their validity ranges from long-term to short-term for the next six months.

He pointed out that the association works through coordination with the Palestinian Red Crescent by providing daily information on all medical and food required to be provided on Kuwaiti relief air bridge planes, in addition to coordinating with the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Egypt to bring aid urgently.

Al-Zaid expressed his thanks to the donors of the "Help Palestine” campaign through their website, stressing that the association is keen to interact urgently with all humanitarian crises and natural disasters and in coordination to deliver aid to the affected areas around the world. – KUNA
