MUSCAT: The Public Authority for Housing Welfare announced its participation on Sunday in the first Gulf Housing Week in the Sultanate of Oman, where it reviews the Kuwaiti experience in providing residential care, electronic services and digital transformation through the government application Sahel.

The authority announced that the Minister of Justice and Housing Affairs Faleh Al-Raqqa issued a decision to form a Kuwaiti delegation headed by Acting Director General of the Foundation Rashid Al-Enezi to participate in the activities of the 21st meeting of the Committee of Ministers concerned with housing affairs in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the accompanying events in the Sultanate of Oman between 29 and 31 October.

"The Kuwaiti delegation will review the role of the Foundation in introducing a culture of sustainable urban planning and benefiting from modern design and alternative energy in public buildings belonging to city housing projects, as well as investment projects that are being offered and implemented, in addition to reviewing recent research and studies on residential care,” they added.

The authority explained that the Director General of the Public Authority for Welfare will participate in the dialogue session of the ministers of housing in the Gulf countries, reviewing Kuwait’s experience in full-service housing cities, as well as learning about the experiences of other Gulf countries.
