Zionist entity targeting social media influencers in Palestine
Desperate and barbaric actions to obscure truth and hide heinous crimes

By Majd Othman

KUWAIT: If you are a social media user following the situation in Gaza, you have likely come across several Palestinian bloggers who provide real-time updates on the ongoing massacres and genocide that the Palestinian people have been enduring at the hands of the Zionist entity since Oct 7.

These bloggers encompass a diverse range of individuals, including photographers, journalists, actors, human rights activists and even children. Shockingly, the Zionist entity has been targeting them with ruthless actions, ranging from murdering them while they document events to launching airstrikes on their family homes, resulting in the cold-blooded killing of these individuals. Medical personnel and doctors have not been spared either.

These barbaric actions carried out by the Zionist entity have one sole purpose: To obscure the truth and prevent these bloggers from exposing the live criminal activities. However, these efforts have inadvertently helped raise awareness about the Palestinian cause and unveil the true face of this occupation.

Motaz Azaiza, a Palestinian press photographer, received a recorded threatening phone call from the occupation army, warning him to stop covering the genocide in Gaza or face grave danger. Just two days later, his home was bombed, resulting in the loss of many family members.

In less than a week, the news of the murder of Rushdi Sarraj, a renowned Palestinian press photographer, went viral, as he was martyred in a Zionist attack. The issue doesn’t stop there; it extends to a point where any Palestinian child who survives a criminal attack and garners global attention is targeted. In less than 24 hours, these children are murdered in a display of power and an attempt to maximize the brutality of the genocide. A recent heartbreaking incident occurred on Tuesday when 12-year-old Palestinian child Awni Al-Dous, who had shared his dream of becoming a YouTuber on social media, was killed, tragically realizing that dream in death.

Simultaneously, these threats and eliminations have also extended to influencers worldwide and to those who support the Palestinian people and call for an end to the occupation. Even non-Arabs who sympathize with the innocent Palestinians, like actor Jackson Hinkle, have become targets of the Zionist entity on social media for daring to speak the truth.
