Kazemi wins Kuwait Riding Center Show

KUWAIT: International rider Shaker Al-Kazemi won the second edition of the Kuwait Riding Center Show Jumping Championship, which was held on Friday at the center’s track in the Sabhan area. He succeeded in winning first place in the fifth main heat at a height of 130 cm in 72.89 seconds without a fault. Riders Ahmad Al-Ansari, Khalid Al-Khubaizi, Abdulwahab Al-Faris, Fawaz Rashid, and Ghazi Al-Jurairi followed him. The fourth heat (at a height of 120 cm) was won by rider Ali Al-Kharafi. He beat Hussein Al-Kharafi, Fawaz Al-Subaie, and Khalid Al-Khubaizi. Faisal Al-Khunaini won the third heat at a height of 110 cm. A large number of riders competed in the Beginners Category at heights of 70 and 90 cm. Rider Shaker Al-Kazemi said local clubs are keen on organizing many championships in order to enhance the technical level and develop the show jumping sport.
