Scientific Center launches ‘Play and Creativity’ exhibition

KUWAIT: The Scientific Center (TSCK) inaugurated its latest interactive exhibition, titled “Play and Creativity,” on Sunday, offering a dynamic educational experience aimed at stimulating curiosity and nurturing creativity among visitors. Organized in partnership with Finland’s renowned Heureka Science Center, the exhibition forms part of the TSCK’s broader international cooperation efforts to deliver innovative scientific content aligned with global best practices in interactive learning, said TSCK Director General Musaed Al-Yaseen in a press statement.

The exhibition was launched during a special event attended by the center’s staff and their families, along with annual members. It will open to the public starting Monday during official working hours. Al-Yaseen described the exhibition as a unique experience that celebrates play as a powerful tool for education, blending entertainment with knowledge.

He noted that the initiative highlights the role of play in enhancing cognitive abilities, imagination, and communication skills, offering visitors an engaging, hands-on adventure. He added that the exhibition aligns with the center’s mission to provide inspiring and inclusive educational experiences that encourage exploration and discovery through play. By redefining the concept of play as a form of learning, the center aims to motivate visitors of all ages to unlock their potential and interact in a challenging and enjoyable environment. — KUNA
