‘NBK Aspire’ trainees visit Kuwait Times, Kuwait News

KUWAIT: Trainees from the ‘NBK Aspire’ summer program visited Kuwait Times and Kuwait News offices on Monday. Kuwait Times and Kuwait News Public Relations and CSR Manager Jana Alnaqeeb took the students on a tour around the building. During the tour, the students explored various aspects of journalism and engaged in interactive discussions about journalistic practices, the future of journalism in the age of artificial intelligence (AI), and how to distinguish between fake and real news. The trainees visited the Kuwait Times studio, where they participated in a fun and educational game. The students learned about studio equipment, including cameras, lighting setups, and technical controls that bring broadcast journalism to life. Another highlight of the visit was a journey through the Kuwait Times archives, offering a glimpse into decades of history preserved in print. The NBK Aspire Summer Internship Program launched by the National Bank of Kuwait, targets students from high schools, colleges, and universities. The initiative reflects NBK’s ongoing commitment to supporting youth development and empowering the next generation through hands-on learning experiences.
