KUWAIT: Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef Saud Al-Sabah met with senior Interior Ministry officials on Tuesday as part of routine oversight of the ministry’s operations, with a sharp focus on maintaining security readiness. The meeting, held at the Ministry of Interior, reviewed performance indicators across the ministry’s various sectors and discussed ways to enhance operational efficiency and administrative coordination. According to a ministry statement, officials also examined current challenges and issued directives to ensure work continues at the highest professional and organizational standards. The session comes as the conflict between the Zionist entity and Iran entered its sixth day on Wednesday. The Interior Ministry said the meeting also addressed the evolving local and regional security situation, emphasizing the importance of bolstering field readiness and interdepartmental coordination to proactively respond to emerging threats. “The meeting focused on the need to continue raising the level of field readiness and enhancing coordination and integration between security sectors to confront security developments efficiently and proactively, thereby reinforcing national security and stability,” the statement said.
