MoI recognizes Zain for empowering national security cadres

KUWAIT: Zain received a special recognition from the Ministry of Interior for its role in supporting the graduation ceremony of the 47th class of cadet officers at Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences. The recognition comes as part of Zain’s longstanding strategic partnership with the ministry, which has led to numerous joint initiatives aimed at raising public awareness around key national security issues.

The honor was presented by the Academy’s Education and Training Affairs Sector, represented by the Director General of the Academy, Brigadier General Ali Al-Wuhaib, and attended by Zain Kuwait’s CEO Nawaf Al-Gharabally, Acting Director of the Supply and Equipment Department Colonel Khaled Al-Saqer, and officials from both parties.

Zain’s support of the ceremony, which was held under the gracious patronage of His Highness the Amir and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, reflects its ongoing commitment to supporting national institutions and its active participation in events that embody the values of citizenship and patriotism, especially those celebrating the graduation of future national security leaders who will play a key role in safeguarding the country’s stability.

This recognition also builds on a series of impactful collaborations between Zain and the Ministry of Interior, most notably the recent production of the awareness TVC Salute to the Police Officer, which was launched during the 38th Unified GCC Traffic Week. The campaign, which aimed to educate the public on the new traffic law, received widespread positive feedback—particularly from youth and children—for its creative and engaging delivery of important safety messages, further reinforcing Zain’s role as a responsible community partner.

Zain expressed its pride in receiving this honor, which affirms the success of its partnership with the Ministry of Interior and the impact of their joint efforts in serving the community and promoting a culture of security. Both parties look forward to continuing this fruitful collaboration through new initiatives that further enhance public awareness and reinforce the principles of public safety.

As one of the country’s leading economic entities, Zain remains committed to aligning with Kuwait’s national development goals across social, economic, and security domains. The company is proud to be among the first organizations to actively collaborate with the Ministry of Interior on a number of life-saving initiatives.
