Naval delegation visits Saudi Arabia to boost maritime cooperation

RIYADH: A Kuwaiti military delegation led by Commander of the Naval Forces Rear Admiral Saif Al-Hamlan paid an official visit to Saudi Arabia on Monday to strengthen bilateral cooperation and exchange expertise in the maritime domain. According to a statement issued by the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army and carried by KUNA, the delegation held talks with Saudi Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Fayyadh Al-Ruwaili, during which both sides reviewed military relations between the two brotherly countries and discussed means of enhancing operational coordination and joint training between their respective naval forces.

Rear Admiral Al-Hamlan also met with Chief of Staff of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Gharibi. The meeting focused on boosting maritime security in the region through enhanced coordination, joint operations, and the development of future avenues of cooperation in the naval field, the statement added. — KUNA
