‘The Bharat Mahotsav 2K25’, organized by the Indian Arts Federation Kuwait (IAF) as part of its fifth anniversary celebrations, garnered significant attention with its diverse array of programs. The festival, which commenced with vibrant artistic performances at the Ahmadi DPS Theatre Auditorium, transformed into a grand celebration of Indian heritage for the expatriate community.
The cultural conference presided over by IAF president Sherine Mathew as part of the ‘Mahotsavam’ was inaugurated by renowned film actress Sadhika Venugopal. The proceedings began with a moment of remembrance for the siblings who tragically lost their lives in Fahal Al-Ghamim. Azeem Sait and Dr Haider Ali graced the occasion as distinguished guests. President Sherine Mathew detailed the past activities of the organization during her address.



A mesmerizing musical night led by prominent playback singers Anne Amie and Prashobh Ramachandran turned the audience into a festive gathering. The live music competition, Indian Star Voice 2K25, truly captivated hearts with its musical charm. Helen Susan of Carmel School emerged as the Star Voice winner. Ashi Baveja from FAIPS secured the second position, while Aisha Sanva, also from FAIPS, claimed the third spot.
In the Indian Dance Beats finale, students from Bhavans School were recognized as the deserving winners. Chairman Preman Illath, general secretary Leo Kizhakkevedan, cultural secretary Nirmala Devi, program coordinator Priya Kannan, joint secretary Murali Muruganandam, and treasurer Lijo Jose extended their best wishes and addressed the gathering.
