KUWAIT: Graduates of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) for the academic year 2023/2024 expressed deep pride and appreciation for the patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, whose presence at the ceremony honoring outstanding students was described as a profound source of motivation and national pride.

Speaking to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the graduates highlighted the significance of being honored by the country’s leadership, stating that the recognition marked the culmination of years of dedication and academic perseverance. Graduate Sarah Ramadan, who majored in English Language, said the moment was a long-awaited milestone. “We have worked tirelessly for years to reach this point. Being honored by His Highness the Amir is not only a great personal achievement but also a reminder of the state’s paternal care, which inspires us to contribute meaningfully to Kuwait’s future.”

Fatima Al-Ouda, a mathematics graduate, described the recognition as the reward for a personal challenge she had overcome. “Receiving this honor from His Highness is the ultimate fruit of my hard work,” she said. Law graduate Muhanna Al-Gharba echoed these sentiments, stating that the Amir’s patronage serves as a powerful incentive to give back to the nation. He also extended gratitude to the faculty members of the authority for their unwavering support.

From the College of Basic Education, graduate Salah Al-Din Al-Ayesh said, “This honor places upon us the responsibility to help build a generation that is aware, educated, and prepared for the future.” Graduate Ali Misir, who specialized in special education, spoke of his overwhelming pride. “To be honored by His Highness the Amir is a feeling that words cannot capture. Kuwait’s emphasis on education, teachers, and students reflects the state’s commitment to progress and development. We aspire to see Kuwait among the leading nations in education.”

Science graduate Noura Marzouq said the recognition was the reward of years of effort. “This day is a heartwarming conclusion to a long journey of learning, and it pushes me to continue striving for excellence.” The graduates unanimously agreed that the Amir’s support underscores the country’s belief in the transformative power of education and reaffirms their commitment to national development.— KUNA
