DUBAI: Kuwait Airways Chairman Abdulmohsen Al-Fagaan confirmed Monday that the company has begun adopting artificial intelligence (AI) technologies across its various sectors to keep pace with changes, meet the demands of modern markets and enhance travel services for the public.

In an interview with Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) during Kuwait Airways’ participation with its own pavilion at the Arabian Travel Market 2025 exhibition in Dubai, Al-Fagaan stated that Kuwait Airways is expanding the use of AI technologies across different departments. The aim is to boost efficiency and improve customer experience, focusing on several key areas including market analysis, where AI will help understand individual travel trends and preferences, allowing the company to better tailor its offerings to meet diverse traveler needs.

He added that AI technology will also streamline the booking process by accelerating and simplifying reservation procedures, thus offering customers a smoother and more comfortable experience. Furthermore, smart technologies will expedite transactions, reducing time and effort spent on administrative and operational tasks.

Al-Fagaan noted that relying on AI technologies in the coming years will help reduce costs and increase revenues. “AI will improve operational efficiency and reduce expenses, which will positively impact profitability, help Kuwait Airways keep pace with the latest global innovations and enhance its position as a leading national carrier,” he said.
