Kuwait condemns Israeli settlers' calls for bombing Al-Aqsa Mosque

KUWAIT: Kuwait strongly condemned the extremist calls by Israeli settler organizations for bombing Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem, and building a temple on its ruins, in blatant violation in Islamic sanctuaries.

In a statement, Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned of these actions that coincide with the Gaza aggression and increased storming and violations at Al-Aqsa Mosque under military protection, which escalate the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Kuwait renewed the call for an urgent international action to protect Muslim and Christian holy sites in line with international law, reiterating its principled stand towards the Palestinian cause and in support of the Palestinian people's rights and struggle to achieve independence. - KUNA
