Kuwait wins 10 medals in rhythmic gymnastics

SOFIA: Kuwait girls rhythmic gymnastics team won 10 medals (3 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze) during its participation in the Phoenix Cup, which concluded in the Bulgarian capital, Sofia, amid wide participation from advanced teams in the game such as Brazil, Poland and the host country. The team’s player Sarah Al-Bannai (born in 2012), who participated in the elite category, won a silver medal in the mace and a bronze medal in the ribbon, while she came fourth in the overall individual and fifth in the hoop.

Raya Al-Qassar (born in 2013), who participated in the first level, won “two gold” in the general singles and mace, and “silver” in the ball competition, while Nabila Al-Kharafi (born in 2013), who also participated in the first level, won “gold” in the ball competition, and “two silver” in the general singles and hoop and Talia Behbehani (born in 2014) won ‘silver’ in the mace competition and a “bronze” in the ball competition, finishing fourth in the general singles.
