National Guard celebrates graduation of 63 officers

KUWAIT: The National Guard celebrated the graduation of 63 new officers on Sunday, marking their induction into service following their successful completion of studies at Ali Al-Sabah Military College and Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences. The ceremony was held under the patronage and in the presence of National Guard Chief Sheikh Mubarak Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, alongside Deputy National Guard Chief Sheikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, National Guard Undersecretary Lieutenant General Hashem Al-Rifai and several senior commanders and officers.

In a press statement, Sheikh Mubarak Al-Sabah extended his congratulations to the graduating officers, praising their efforts and commitment throughout their academic and training journey. “Today, you stand at the threshold of a new phase — one that reflects your sense of responsibility, military discipline, and dedication as officers of the National Guard,” he said.

Sheikh Mubarak emphasized that success in their future roles requires more than just discipline, highlighting the importance of upholding Islamic values, following orders, and embracing teamwork. “Be role models in your conduct, and let your ultimate objective be the advancement of the National Guard — whether in security, technical, or administrative fields,” he added.

He concluded by praying for the continued security and stability of Kuwait under the leadership of His Highness the Amir and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, wishing them guidance and success in leading the nation forward. — KUNA
