KUWAIT: Kuwait is set to experience a hot weekend with fluctuating weather patterns, according to the Meteorological Department. Acting Director Dharar Al-Ali told KUNA that the country is currently under the influence of a hot air mass, which will lead to soaring temperatures during the day and moderate to partly cloudy conditions at night. Al-Ali noted that active southerly winds will cause reduced visibility due to dust, particularly in open areas, with chances of scattered rainfall. A cold front is expected, shifting the winds to northwesterly and causing further dust disturbances at night. Sea conditions are forecast to be rough, with waves reaching up to six feet.
On Friday, weather conditions are expected to improve gradually. Daytime temperatures will see a noticeable drop, ranging between 32°C and 34°C. Winds will shift to northwesterly, light to moderate in speed, occasionally active at 15 to 42 km/h. Some scattered clouds are expected, along with a chance of light, isolated showers. Sea conditions will remain light to moderate with waves between two and six feet.
