KUWAIT: The Kuwait Municipality this week called on owners of spring camps to remove their camps as the camping season has officially ended for this year. In a press statement, the municipality’s official spokesperson and Director of the Public Relations Department, Mohammad Al-Sandan, stated that field teams have issued warnings to owners of camps that remain in place despite the official period set by the municipality having ended.
Al-Sandan stressed that any spring camp found violating the designated period will be subject to penalties, including the forfeiture of the security deposit and charging the license holder for removal expenses. He expressed gratitude to those who have already removed their camps, acknowledging their cooperation with municipal teams to ensure compliance with camping regulations.

He also emphasized that municipal teams will not hesitate to take all necessary actions and issue violation reports against those who do not adhere to these regulations. Kuwait Municipality teams will begin their intensive campaigns on Sunday to remove spring camps from desert areas, following the end of the spring camping season on March 15. A warning and grace period were given to all camps until the end of the Eid Al-Fitr holiday week. The municipality confirmed that it will confiscate the equipment of any camps that have not been removed, in accordance with the law. — KUNA
