KUWAIT: Kuwait Dairy Company (KDCOW), a trusted leader in Kuwait’s dairy industry for over 46 years, is pleased to announce the appointment of Taibah Al-Qatami as Chairperson and Manaf Al-Wazzan as Vice Chairperson of the company’s Board of Directors. These leadership changes were confirmed during the board meeting held on March 19, 2025.
Both Al-Qatami and Al-Wazzan are long-standing board members and have been instrumental in KDCOW’s transformation journey, particularly through their leadership roles on the Transformation Committee. Their appointments underscore KDCOW’s commitment to advancing its corporate restructuring strategy and building on the momentum from the company’s new corporate identity launch earlier this year.
With extensive experience in investment strategy, corporate governance, and leadership development, Al-Qatami brings a strategic and forward-looking vision to KDCOW. As Chairperson, she will lead the board in reinforcing the company’s focus on operational excellence, governance, and sustainable growth. “I’m honored to take on the role of Chairperson at a pivotal moment in KDCOW’s journey,” said Al-Qatami, who is the company’s first female board member and Chairman. “We remain deeply committed to strengthening governance, delivering value to our stakeholders, and building on the company’s legacy as a national leader in the dairy industry.”
Al-Wazzan, a seasoned executive with decades of experience in the food and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors, brings deep industry knowledge to his new role as Vice Chairperson. His insights into operations and market trends will support the company’s strategic direction as it adapts to a dynamic and competitive business landscape. “KDCOW has always been a cornerstone of Kuwait’s food industry,” said Al-Wazzan. “I look forward to supporting the company’s transformation and helping ensure it remains competitive, customer-focused, and true to its heritage.”
The Board of Directors reaffirmed KDCOW’s strategic priorities for 2025, which include strengthening organizational structures, enhancing operational efficiency, and sustainable innovation of the product portfolio to meet evolving market demands. As KDCOW continues its transformation into a more agile and future-ready organization, the leadership of Taibah Al-Qatami and Manaf Al-Wazzan signals a renewed commitment to corporate excellence, shareholder value, and industry leadership in the dairy sector.
