Zain Al-Shuhoor continues its charitable contributions during Ramadan

KUWAIT: Under the umbrella of its community campaign, Zain Al-Shuhoor, Zain continues its charitable contributions during the last ten days of the Holy Month of Ramadan. The company remains committed to offering daily iftar meals in collaboration with its strategic partner, the Kuwait Food and Relief Bank. Recently, Zain organized a special visit to the fish market in the Souq Sharq area to distribute iftar meals to the market workers.

The visit was joined by Zain Kuwait’s Chief Corporate Affairs and Relations Officer, Waleed Al-Khashti, Vice Chairman of the Kuwait Food and Relief Bank, Mishaal Al-Ansari, along with Zain and Food Bank officials, and members of the Zain Al-Shuhoor volunteer team. The visit witnessed a heartwarming and special participation by children from the Al-Kharafi Center for Children with Disabilities, who joined the Zain Al-Shuhoor volunteer team in distributing the meals — a gesture that highlighted Zain’s commitment to integrating people with special needs into meaningful community engagement alongside their peers.

The iftar initiative is one of the cornerstones of Zain’s annual Ramadan program, now in its eighteenth consecutive year. Each day, the company distributes iftar meals in collaboration with its strategic partner, the Kuwait Food and Relief Bank, with trucks traveling across the country to deliver meals to densely populated areas and locations with large concentrations of workers, individuals and underprivileged families.

Zain also provides daily iftar meals at Manahi Al-Dawas Hall in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, bringing the total number of meals distributed throughout the Holy Month to 40,000. Zain’s team oversees this initiative directly, with the participation of the Zain Al-Shuhoor volunteer team, comprised of company employees from various departments and divisions — a step that reinforces Zain’s dedication to fostering active community participation.

The Zain Al-Shuhoor campaign continues to evolve and expand its programs and initiatives every year. Through this campaign, the company builds bridges of collaboration with various entities across the country, embodying the spirit of giving that defines Ramadan, and reflecting the deep-rooted values of the Kuwaiti people in helping others and spreading love and peace.
