KUWAIT: The Ministry of Health, represented by the Blood Transfusion Services Department, has announced the launch of a blood donation campaign in collaboration with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs. The initiative will be held across several mosques for three consecutive days, commencing after Tarawih prayers and concluding before Qiyam prayers.
In a press statement issued Monday, the ministry confirmed that the campaign will begin on Wednesday at Saud Abdulaziz Al-Rashed Mosque in Adailiya, continue on Thursday at Badriya Nasser Al-Jeaan Mosque in Salmiya, and conclude on Friday at Abdullah Abdulaziz Al-Othman and Munira Ibrahim Al-Jalal Mosques.
The ministry emphasized that the campaign underscores the principle of social responsibility and fosters constructive collaboration between state institutions. It aims to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan, highlighting its role in saving lives and reinforcing the national blood reserve to ensure the health sector’s preparedness and sustainability.
Reaffirming its commitment to promoting a culture of generosity and strengthening humanitarian values, the Ministry of Health highlighted the campaign as a reflection of the deep bond between state institutions and society.
