Gulf Bank distributes Ramadan food packages to underprivileged families in Ahmadi

Bank praises its collaboration with City Hypermarket in supporting individuals, families

KUWAIT: As part of its Ramadan program “Our Traditions Always Bring Us Together,” Gulf Bank has distributed food packages to underprivileged families in Ahmadi. This initiative was made possible through a collaboration with City Hypermarket.

Every year, Gulf Bank remains dedicated to organizing meaningful initiatives and activities throughout the holy month of Ramadan, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and community support.” The Bank praised its collaboration with City Hypermarket in supporting individuals and families facing difficult circumstances. By distributing Ramadan food packages, they aim to alleviate the financial burden on families, particularly amid rising living costs. Each package contains a variety of essential food items, providing sustenance for several days.

This initiative is one of many charitable efforts Gulf Bank organizes during Ramadan, reflecting the Bank’s long-standing commitment to the Kuwaiti community. For over 60 years, Gulf Bank has remained an integral part of Kuwait’s economic and social development, consistently contributing to the well-being of society. Gulf Bank continues to uphold its strong commitment to sustainability across social, economic, and environmental levels through carefully curated initiatives that positively impact both the Bank and the community. These efforts support the Bank’s 2025 strategy, align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and contribute to Kuwait Vision 2035.

Notably, in the days leading up to Ramadan, Gulf Bank distributed food packages to visitors at LuLu Hypermarket and Shamiya Cooperative Society over two days. Additionally, the Bank participated in the “Joy Land” initiative, which provided household essentials and Eid clothing to low-income families. This initiative aimed to enhance the quality of life for underprivileged families during Ramadan by addressing their basic needs and spreading joy.
