KU announces registration dates for aptitude tests

KUWAIT: Kuwait University (KU) announced on Monday the registration schedule for the third round of academic aptitude tests for 12th-grade students, exclusively for Kuwaiti nationals and children of Kuwaiti mothers. Online registration will be open from March 19 to 25. In a press statement, the university stated that the aptitude tests are scheduled to take place on Saturdays — May 10, May 31, and June 28 — at Sabah Al-Salem University City. The first two days of registration will be reserved for Kuwaiti students and children of Kuwaiti mothers who have not previously taken the test.

Registration for all other eligible categories, including non-Kuwaiti students, will be available on March 24 and 25, or until all seats are filled. KU urged all high school students, including those in the 12th grade or its equivalent, as well as recent graduates, to register through the designated electronic portal at https://porta.ku.edu.kw/placement. The university emphasized the importance of adhering to all test-day instructions. It also clarified that taking the aptitude tests does not guarantee university admission and that test registration fees are non-refundable. — KUNA
