UN rights chief 'horrified' by deadly Zionist airstrikes in Gaza

GENEVA: The United Nations rights chief voiced horror Tuesday at the most violent Zionist airstrikes in Gaza since a fragile ceasefire took effect in January, killing over 350 Palestinians.

"I am horrified by last night's Israeli airstrikes and shelling in Gaza, which killed hundreds, according to the Ministry of Health in the strip," Volker Turk said in a statement, adding that "This will add tragedy onto tragedy."—AFP
