MBYA holds blood donation camp

The Mor Basilios Youth Association (MBYA), affiliated with the St George Universal Syrian Orthodox Church in Kuwait, successfully organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with the Blood Donors Kerala Kuwait Chapter at the Adan Blood Transfusion Center. The event took place from 8 pm to 11.30 pm on March 7, 2025, attracting a remarkable turnout of generous volunteers eager to contribute to this life-saving cause.

The camp was inaugurated by Rev Fr Stephen Neduvakattu, who emphasized the vital importance of community service and the urgent need for blood donations to save lives. MBYA Secretary Kuriakos N Y extended a warm welcome to all attendees, fostering a spirit of unity and purpose. Parish secretary Jinu M Baby highlighted the collective impact of blood donations on the lives of those in need.

The event also featured felicitations from MBYA trustee Eldos P K, camp coordinators Emil Mathew and Sabi Mathew, and Blood Donors Kerala (BDK) coordinators Praveen, Rajan Thottathil, and Manoj Mavalikkara, who also shared their insights. General Convener Nimish Kavalam expressed gratitude to all blood donors, volunteers, and blood bank staff for their invaluable contributions to the camp’s success.
