ShareKUWAIT: Kuwait Shooting Sport Club organized Sheikh Salman Humoud Al-Salman Al-Sabah Heritage Shooting Tournament on Thursday evening in which members of the club’s general assembly members participated.
President of the Asian Shooting Confederation Honorary President of KSSC Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah told journalists following the event that the tournament witnessed the participation of members of the KSSC general assembly as it carried the name of Sheikh Salman Humoud Al-Salman Al-Sabah who made many important contributions to the sport of shooting.
He added the tournament was organized to remember the contributions of Sheikh Salman Al-Humoud and his continued support to the sport of shooting. He said Sheikh Salman had a major role in the establishment of the Shooting Sport Club. Sheikh Salman thanked KSSC President and members for organizing the tournament.
Meanwhile, President of Kuwait and Arab Shooting Federations Eng Duaij Khalaf Al-Otaibi said “today we had a heritage shooting tournament in which members of the general assembly participated”, he added “we are pleased with the turnout during this holy month. He said the tournament was at the 50 meters shooting range using the popular Kharraza rifle.
He added the tournament was organized with safety in mind and supervised by specialized coaches, adding the goal was to bring people together.
He said that HH the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah International Grand Prix will be held following the Eid holidays in which world champions will participate.
Results of the tournament were as follows:
* First: Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah
* Second: Marzouq Eid Al-Waalan
* Third: Sheikh Humoud Salman Al-Humoud Al-Sabah
* Fourth: Musaed Yaqoub Al-Najjar
* Fifth: Abdullah Saleh Al-Osaimi
* Sixth: Saud Musaed Alk-Najdi.
