Girgian is a joyful occasion that reflects popular, cultural and social heritage, embodies the spirit of social solidarity and brings happiness to children and families. The word “girgian” in the Kuwaiti dialect comes out of the sound of drums used by children to mark this traditional occasion. — KUNA
