Jahez International concludes National Holidays campaign

KUWAIT: Jahez International Company (“Jahez International”), a pioneering platform that connects customers with their favorite restaurants through online orders, announced the conclusion of its extensive National Holidays campaign whereby the company organized a series of community-driven initiatives throughout the month of February and March in celebration of Kuwait’s National and Liberation Days. The initiatives organized under the campaign align with the core values that Jahez International stands by when serving and engaging with the community that extend beyond its business operations.

Jahez International’s National Holidays campaign featured various collaborations with renowned institutions in Kuwait and public figures that share the same values as the company. The initiatives included sponsoring the Kontinue program by LOYAC, an exclusive artistic collaboration with local Kuwaiti illustrator and artist ‘Sheikha’, engaging family-focused activities with the Kuwait Association for the Care of Children in Hospital (‘KACCH’) and Bayt Abdullah Children’s Hospice (‘BACCH’), and a large reconstruction of the Residential and Industrial Sulaibiya Tunnel (‘Kabd Tunnel’). These efforts were launched in addition to Jahez International’s ongoing commitment to giving back to its valued customers through cashback rewards, daily promotions, and exclusive collaborations on the Jahez App.

Bader Al-Ajeel, General Manager of Jahez International, said: “Kuwait’s National Holidays are a time to reflect on the values that bring our community together. At Jahez International, we believe businesses have a responsibility to contribute beyond their core services by organizing and supporting initiatives that create a lasting and meaningful impact. Through our ongoing efforts, we are committed to strengthening our connection with the community by launching a diverse range of initiatives. These initiatives aim to extend beyond our platform and into the daily lives of our customers and the community.”

Empowering entrepreneurs

As part of its commitment to youth empowerment and engaging with the community, Jahez International sponsored ‘Kontinue’, a six-week program launched by LOYAC. The program aimed to equip aspiring business owners aged 20 and above with essential skills in leadership, business development, and startup strategy. Held at Boursa Kuwait, the program included mentorship and industry experts, hands-on workshops, and a final pitch competition where participants presented their business ideas to a judging panel for an opportunity to secure funding for their project.

Supporting local art

In celebrating Kuwait’s vibrant cultural and arts scene, Jahez International partnered with local artist Sheikha Al-Habshi to design exclusive National Day themed artwork for coffee sleeves and stickers, in collaboration with Kofe – Espresso Bar. The sleeves and stickers were placed on all coffee mugs and orders placed to Kofe on the Jahez App. The coffee sleeves featured a colorful tribute to Kuwait with various elements resembling Kuwait’s heritage and traditions placed in the artwork.

Celebrating the youth

Giving back to those in need, Jahez International partnered with KACCH and BACCH, bringing joy to young patients through an interactive arts and crafts experience. Representatives from the Jahez International team personally distributed creative activity kits and giveaways, getting a chance to also meet and speak with the children. The initiative aimed to brighten the children’s day and their families while also providing them with a moment of joy that is outside their daily routines.

Making a change with Bu Jarrah

Community development is an essential factor for progress especially when celebrating the National Holidays, which serve as a time to reflect on the importance of collective efforts in building a better future. In collaboration with Bu Jarrah, a well-known activist and social media influencer in Kuwait, Jahez International took the initiative to completely renovate the Kabd Tunnel, transforming it into a safer and more visually appealing passageway for the community. The tunnel, which had significantly deteriorated over time, was renovated along with a complete reconstruction of the road leading to it. In addition to the structural enhancements, Jahez International, alongside Bu Jarrah, collaborated with local graffiti artists to turn the outer walls of the tunnels into a vibrant display to commemorate Kuwait’s heritage.

Strengthening community ties

Jahez International’s National Holiday initiatives reflect its long-term approach of creating a deeper connection with the Kuwaiti community. Through its projects, the company aspires to play a contributing role in supporting and progressing Kuwait’s social and economic fabric.

Al-Ajeel added: “Our initiatives this year were designed to blend celebration with social impact, reflecting our core belief that businesses must actively contribute to the well-being of the communities they serve. We are proud to have played a part in marking this year’s National Holiday celebration more memorable for families, entrepreneurs, and the wider public.”
