Sheikh Nawaf took part in a dialogue session moderated by CERAWeek Chairman and renowned energy expert Daniel Yergin, during which he reaffirmed KPC’s commitment to ensuring the safe and reliable supply of crude oil and clean energy products to its customers. He also highlighted the remarkable progress achieved by Kuwait’s oil sector in exploration, development, and production — particularly in offshore exploration. Underscoring the need for innovative solutions to address technical and economic challenges, Sheikh Nawaf reiterated Kuwait’s steadfast commitment to meeting global demand for crude oil and low-emission energy products.

Meanwhile, KPC’s Managing Director for Planning and Finance, Bader Al-Attar, participated in a session titled A Look at Future Oil Demand, where he outlined the corporation’s strategy for managing price fluctuations through flexible planning and market diversification. Al-Attar emphasized that despite the volatility of global supply and demand, KPC remains on a steady growth trajectory. He affirmed that demand for Kuwaiti oil will persist for decades, even as the world transitions towards alternative energy sources. — KUNA
