KUWAIT: His Highness the Amir, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, visited the Kuwait National Guard (KNG) headquarters on Monday. His Highness the Amir was accompanied by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef Saud Al-Sabah. His Highness the Amir was received by KNG Chief Sheikh Mubarak Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, KNG Deputy Chief Sheikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and KNG Undersecretary Lieu Gen Hashim Al-Refai.

During his speech, His Highness said that he was proud of the National Guard for its decades of history and achievements, wishing the KNG’s Chief, Deputy Chief, and all officers in the Guard success, as well as congratulating them on the blessed month of Ramadan. He noted the great effort of the officers and chiefs in various military, security, administrative fields for defending the homeland, supporting security services, protecting vital facilities, and providing support to state institutions.
