Minister of Justice approves new electronic methods for court notifications

KUWAIT: Minister of Justice Nasser Al-Sumait has issued a ministerial decision approving new electronic methods for delivering court notifications, including case statements, rulings, and judicial orders.

The move, aimed at streamlining procedures and ensuring reliable communication, will take effect at the start of the month following its publication in the official gazette.

Under the decision, notifications will be delivered via the Hawiyati (Kuwait Mobile ID), Sahel, and Sahel Business apps, registered emails with the Public Authority for Civil Information, web services, and SMS.
