Zain hosts iftar banquet at Nawaf Al-Ahmad Base

In recognition of Coast Guard personnel’s efforts during holy month

KUWAIT: As part of its annual Zain Al-Shuhoor campaign, Zain hosted a Ramadan iftar banquet at Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Base, located along the Northern Island of Jaber Al-Ahmad Bridge, in honor of the Coast Guard personnel. This initiative aimed to share the blessings of the Holy Month of Ramadan with them while expressing appreciation for their relentless efforts in safeguarding Kuwait’s maritime borders around the clock.

The iftar gathering was attended by Major General Sheikh Mubarak Ali Yousef Al-Sabah, Director General of the General Administration of the Coast Guard, along with Zain Kuwait’s Chief Corporate Affairs and Relations Officer, Waleed Al-Khashti, Zain officials, and Coast Guard personnel stationed at the base.

This initiative reflects Zain’s commitment to embracing the spirit of Ramadan and sharing its blessings with the community, including Coast Guard personnel who dedicate themselves to protecting the nation and its people 24/7. The iftar banquet was held in their honor as a gesture of gratitude for their sacrifices, particularly during Ramadan, when they remain on duty away from their families.

Such social visits are an integral part of Zain’s annual Ramadan program, during which the company’s team and volunteers actively engage in visits to various entities to strengthen community bonds and foster collaboration. Every year, Zain Al-Shuhoor evolves and expands its programs and initiatives, collaborating with various organizations across the country. Through this campaign, Zain embodies the spirit of generosity that defines the holy month and reflects the deep-rooted values of the Kuwaiti people in supporting others and spreading love and peace.
