Worshippers perform Taraweeh prayers on first day of Ramadan

KUWAIT: Worshippers in various mosques across the country performed Taraweeh prayers on Saturday evening on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, amid an atmosphere of faith, spirituality and overwhelming joy at receiving the holy month. Worshippers (men, women and children) flocked to perform this prophetic Sunnah at moments when faith in worship is renewed with reverence and supplication, asking the Almighty Allah to accept their fasting and prayers. — KUNA
