CAN celebrates national holidays with patients

KUWAIT: Dr Khaled Ahmed Al-Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Cancer Awareness Campaign (CAN), congratulated His Highness the Amir, the government and the people of Kuwait on the occasion of the national holidays, namely National Day and Liberation Day.

Dr Khaled expressed his happiness on this occasion, noting that the CAN campaign organized a visit to cancer patients at the Kuwait Cancer Control Center to share the joy of the national holidays with the patients. He explained that this initiative aims to enhance the psychological state of patients, contributing to their acceptance of the treatment phase and strengthening their determination.

The “Kuwaiti Pride” event witnessed the participation of the “Makin” Club team, which is affiliated with the “CAN” campaign. The club specializes in supporting cancer patients. The Social Service Department at the Kuwait Cancer Center also participated in this tour, in coordination with the Center’s Public Relations Department.

The participants prayed to Allah to bring these joys back to the country under the leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
