Kuwait’s racing clubs make good start in Qatar

DOHA: The Kuwaiti auto and motorcycle clubs made good results on Saturday in the second round of Qatar Drag Racing Championship held in the Qatari capital.

Kuwaiti racer Hussein Al-Bloushi came first in the 10.0-Index category, Rumaih Al-Rumaih also came first in the 9.0-index and Mohammad Zaman ranked third. In the 4.8-index category, Hussein Al-Maqseed came third.

Racers from Bassel car race club had their share of trophies. Abdulaziz Saleh came second in the 4.5-index section while Nawaf Al-Khaldi ranked second. In the 9.0-index competition, Badr Al-Fodari came second, while in the 8.5-bike competition, Abdullah Al-Ansari was first, Mohammad Karam second, while in super street, Turki Al-Humaidi came first and in street bike, Abdullah Al-Ansari was third. The championship that kicked off in February comprises five rounds. — KUNA
