Kuwait Amir congratulates citizens, residents on national days

KUWAIT: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Wednesday congratulated the nationals of, and foreign residents in, the State of Kuwait on the country's 64th National Day and 34th Liberation Day. He appreciated the lofty patriotic sentiments and the festive moods showed by the citizens during these two dear national occasions.


His Highness the Amir also appreciated the great efforts to ensure the safety of the celebrations made by the security services of the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Defense and the National Guard Corps. He thanked the standing committee on national days, the Ministry of Information and Culture, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education, Kuwait Fire Force and Kuwait Municipality for the neat preparations for, and extensive media coverage of, the celebrations which reflected the civilized nature of State of Kuwait.

His Highness the Amir recalled the selfless sacrifices offered by the great martyrs of Kuwait in defense of the liberty and safety of the homeland, praying for the Almighty Allah to lodge their souls in Paradise. He thanked the leaders of the GCC countries and other friendly countries for sharing with the State of Kuwait the joy of the national celebrations which showed the depth of the friendly state-to-state and people-to-people relationships. - KUNA
