Bunyan: ‘Blue’ is ready
For his part, Manager of the Kuwait Veterans national team, Mohammad Bunyan, confirmed that the "blue” is ready to participate in the Gulf championship after completing the preparation phase in an ideal and satisfactory way for us.
Bunyan said that the Kuwaiti national team played 3 experimental matches, during which the level graduated in an ascending manner, and the "blue” presented an excellent performance in its third and last experimental match, which made the technical staff led by coach Muhammad Ibrahim and his assistant Hani Al-Sager reassured.
Bunyan said: "I thank the organizers of this tournament, which is great in terms of the idea of bringing together former Gulf football stars in the land of Kuwait during the period of celebrations of national holidays in February.”
Bunyan pointed out that the Gulf Veterans Cup is an ideal opportunity for fans to come and enjoy watching former stars who have a fan base among football fans. "The ideal thing is that all four matches will be played on the same day, as the duration of the match is 40 minutes divided into two halves, so the fan who comes to Jaber Al Mubarak Al Hamad Stadium will have the opportunity to watch the maximum amount of matches and stars in one day,” he added.
Bunyan said that the preparation period for the national team included some injuries to the players who found exemplary medical care from the medical staff, an effort that must be noted to thank them for their great efforts.
In conclusion, Bunyan wished the national team and all participating teams success in making the tournament a success.
