Young Ambassadors Program visits Kuwait Times, Kuwait News

KUWAIT: Students from the Young Ambassador Program visited the offices of Kuwait Times and Kuwait News on Thursday as part of an educational initiative aimed at enhancing their understanding of journalism and media. During the visit, the students had the opportunity to explore the newsroom, interact with the Kuwait Times team, and learn about the process of news gathering, editing, and publishing.

The students were given a tour of the building, introducing them to its various departments and their respective roles. They were provided with a glimpse into the world of journalism, allowing them to interact with the Kuwait Times team members.

At the end of the tour, Kuwait Times’ Content Creator Dhoha Al-Issa recorded a video featuring the students as they participated in an interactive game. The activity added a fun and engaging element to the visit, allowing the students to showcase their creativity and teamwork. The “Young Ambassador” Program in its third season, themed “Sustainable Peace and Security”, is organized by the British Embassy Kuwait in collaboration with the Embassy of Canada and the United Nations Resident Coordinator Office.

Participating students have the opportunity to develop diplomatic and leadership skills while exploring how to develop innovative solutions that promote sustainable peace and security on both a local and international level over six months.
